Since 2009, Sayoko Onishi has been a member of Man’Ok & Cie, a French company based in Nancy. The collaboration brings together dance, prepared contrabass, live music and performance across real and imagined worlds.
Works including Kwaïdan and Landscaper explore encounters between cultures, languages and bodies, creating spaces where movement and sound transform one another.
